COME FLY WITH US!
In a collaboration with our government and corporate partners Techwerx has the LaunchPath program which is designed to help small business to be successful in Small Business Innovation Research (SBIRs) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs. These are competitive programs that encourage domestic small businesses to engage in Federal Research/Research and Development (R/R&D) with the potential for commercialization.
Through a competitive awards-based program, SBIRs and STTRs enables small businesses to explore their technological potential and provide the incentive to profit from its commercialization. Working with government agencies and program offices can be challenging but the Launch Path SBIR support program is a way for small companies to fast track their success in doing business with the government.
Central to the STTR program is the partnership between small businesses and research institutions like universities. The STTR program requires the small business to formally collaborate with a research institution in Phase I and Phase II. STTR's most important role is to bridge the gap between performance of basic science and commercialization of resulting innovations.
This is why Techwerx is proud to collaborate with universities like Louisiana Tech University, Louisiana State University and Houston Baptist University in research programs.
If you would like to learn more click on any of the Universities or Agencies logos above to learn more about SBIR/STTR programs.
