TechWerx has an open but competitive application process with a selection of participants by industry partners and investors.
There is a mix of access to consulting, specialized intellectual property and networks of experienced entrepreneurs to help founders sharpen their skills, develop management teams and obtain external financing.
TECH SCOUT
The center has a fast test and validate methodology to validate ideas and incubate functioning beta tests. This also includes help with finding initial customers, linkage of entrepreneurs to business consulting and preparing pitches to obtain follow-up investment.
TechWerx addresses the funding gap for startups and the information gap for would-be investors. We reduce search costs for angel funders and venture capitalists while creating a pipeline of vetted technologies for the market.
By concentrating resources through access to investment networks, and intensive mentoring TechWerx is able to identify winning ideas more quickly and help startups grow.
